Reality Store Event for Sophomores 2/11
On Tuesday, February 11th all Sophomore students will participate in the Reality Store Event. The Reality Store is part of Academic and Career Planning for our sophomores, to get students thinking about the future -- what kind of lifestyle they want vs what kind of career may support it. Reality Store is a financial literacy simulation where students live a month as their future selves. They have a monthly salary (based on a future career they choose), and then visit booths where they need to make decisions such as choosing a home/apartment, cell phone plan, vehicle/bus pass, child care, etc. Students will be released from class to participate by homeroom. The event takes place in the LHS Auxiliary Gym.
Thanks to The Chamber of Manitowoc County for making this event possible for our students!
