Staff Spotlight/Shout Outs 🙌
Laura Shultz
Mrs. Laura Shultz is an outstanding special ed teacher. She goes above and beyond for her students and not only her caseload but all the students at WMS. She works hard to make sure we have the fun stuff going on like clubs, field trips, holiday parties, and special learning opportunities, as well as improving our school media center with up-to-date books. She has been spending her weekend time searching for these books that meets the needs of our students and taking care of our media center by organizing and restructuring it. She never gets enough credit for all the hard work that she does While being short handed in her department.

Eric Dean
I would like to give a shout out to Mr. Dean. He has a great way of building rapport with students and helping them turn their day around when needed. He has helped me with students that need a little more redirection than I can handle sometimes to keep classrooms moving smoothly and follows up with them as well.

Anthony Purpura
Mr. Anthony Purpura has braved switching content areas this year and has taken it in stride. I have been encouraged by students who leave his science class excited about learning and doing labs. He has also been sure that our students have diverse learning opportunities such as a spelling bee and boosting our media center with culturally- responsive and engaging books. Nobody else cares more about seeing our students grow than Mr. Purpura. He’s always encouraging our students to give their best in boosting their confidence and abilities to meet their goals.
