Poster Drop is an event that has occurred at Hoover High School during BGD week for decades! Each grade level selected a theme and created a poster which was revealed during Tuesday's enrichment period. Each of the grade level did such an amazing job creating their poster!!!

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Latin American holiday where families remember and honor loved ones who have passed away. Celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, families set up ofrendas (altars) with photos, flowers, and favorite foods of their loved ones to celebrate their lives. They believe that on these days, the spirits of the departed return to visit. Día de los Muertos is a colorful, joyful celebration that highlights the importance of family, memory, and tradition.

If you have an open EO, visit Mr. Robinson's classroom Friday mornings (above the Collaboratory) to play old games and make new friends! There are 3 T.V's playing old consoles from the N.E.S. to the WiiU. Besides just playing old games, they also talk about the history of games, and they even do video game console repairs.
