Needle Felting Fun: Creativity Club's November Adventure!
In November, the Creativity Club discovered the art of needle felting, turning loose fibers into beautiful, handcrafted creations. Participants learned the basics of this meditative and tactile craft, using felting needles to sculpt wool into unique designs. The session was a hit, sparking creativity and conversation among the group. It was a wonderful way to explore a new skill and connect with fellow crafters!
About the Creativity Club:
This is free informal club for adults 55+ that meet monthly through January 2025 to explore and experience creativity as a dimension of wellness. Participants try a variety of arts and crafts mediums, dig into the benefits of creativity, and discover ways to tap into creativity for a vibrant life.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
