VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH

Vicky Georgas and Melinda Robinson are our fabulous Fun Food Friday chairs. They do such an amazing job of coordinating and running this hugely popular event! It is a massive undertaking that requires meticulous planning all year round and is a firm favorite with students and volunteers. Thank you ladies for providing such a fun event for our students!

Our Hospitality chairs, Jennifer Smith and Risa Park, make sure our BDJH staff always feel appreciated. So far they have provided a back to school lunch and treats, Thankful snacks, Thanksgiving pies for each teacher and snack carts to name but a few. This month they are busy planning a staff Christmas breakfast and lunch. We know the teachers feel the love because of what they do!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - PBIS POINTS

On Friday, December 6th, volunteers are needed to help the students cash in their PBIS points for rewards. Please consider signing up below.

What is PBIS Rewards? Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. PBIS focuses on the positive. Students will be able to earn points for modeling our P. R. I. D. E. Values: Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy. When students are modeling our P.R.I.D.E Values, anyone on campus can scan their ID and give them points. Once students earn points, they will be able to cash in their points in our school store.

WREATH EXCHANGE WITH KATY JUNIOR HIGH

Thank you to BDJH parent Giselle Salbego for organizing this amazing Wreath Exchange with our sister school Katy Junior High. Thank you to everyone at Katy Junior High for making this exchange possible. If you get a chance to go to the front office this holiday season, please take a moment to admire this beautiful wreath.

THANK YOU BDJH FAMILIES!!!

This week we were able to give over 150 staff members gift cards to purchase a pie this Thanksgiving. Our wonderful volunteers also treated everyone to a snack cart.

Thank you to all our BDJH families that donated money for gift cards and donated snacks. We love to show our appreciation to each and every BDJH teacher and staff member this holiday season!
