CLUBS FOR STUDENTS
Parents/Caregivers must sign a permission form in order for students to participate in school clubs. Ask your student about this if they want to join a school club.
Harmony Project:
- Harmony Project is a community organization that builds a more inclusive society by breaking down social barriers, bridging community divides, and empowering the voices of people through arts, education and volunteerism.
- Students that participate will perform in a number of concerts throughout the year and participate in an overnight field trip in the spring.
F3:
- Final Third is a soccer club that meets once a week to work on their English reading and speaking as well as train and play futbol!
- The club meets after school on Tuesdays, from 3-4:30.
- Students must provide their own transportation home from training.
- F3 begins 9/17 and runs for 10 weeks.
Community Service Club:
- All CCS students must have 120 internship/community service hours in order to graduate.
- The Community Service club offers in school and weekend opportunities for students to get involved and get service hours by helping out in school and a wide variety of other places!
Why Are School Clubs Important?
School Clubs Are Very Important Because:
- Students who participate in clubs can stand out when applying to colleges and other programs they might be interested in.
- Students who participate in clubs learn life skills like leadership, communication, cooperation, team work, problem solving and so much more.
- Students who participate in clubs can perform better in their studies.
- Students who participate in clubs are more likely to reduce stress.
