IRS Deductible Increase
The IRS has announced the new minimum deductible levels for Qualified High Deductible Health Plans for 2024. As defined by the IRS, your deductible increased effective July 1, 2024:
In-network deductible:
- $1,600 employee only plan
- $3,200 family plan

Want to Change your HSA Contribution?
Clearances
As you know, you are required to submit updated clearances to us every 5 years. When you send us these clearances, please make sure to make copies for your personal use. Unfortunately, we can no longer email copies of your clearances to you.
Want to know when your clearances expire? Check the employee portal at Home > Staff Portal > Clearances.
If you do need copies of your clearances, you will have to make an appointment to visit the Personnel Office to view your employee file and pay a per-copy charge for any documents you wish to copy.
Life Insurance
If you are currently covered by the District's Life Insurance Plan, each year, in the month of September you are able to increase or decrease/cancel your supplemental coverage. If you'd like to add additional supplemental coverage, please click here to access the appropriate form.
Also, if at any time you'd like to change your Life Insurance Beneficiary, please do so by completing the Life Insurance Enrollment Form available on Frontline Central Forms.

Tuition Reimbursement Pre-Approval Window
Applications for Winter/Spring course reimbursement will be accepted from October 15 at 4:00 p.m. EST through November 15 at 4:00 p.m. EST. No applications for Winter/Spring course reimbursement will be accepted after November 15 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Pre-approvals will be processed, in order of the date and time the fully completed pre-approval form was received by the Personnel Office. In the event that the form is not fully completed, or that any required information is not provided, the pre-approval form will not be processed until the application is complete.

Health and Wellness Information
Our benefits broker has provided us with some helpful wellness resources this month. The Live Well Work Well Newsletter discusses cholesterol and includes a recipe for a fruit and nut breakfast rice bowl. There is also information on disaster preparation.
