πGet Your Classroom Technology Ready for the Summer!π»
Tech To-Dos Before Summer Break
πAre you ready for the summer? So are we, but unfortunately, the tech team will be hard at work over the summer to make sure that all the classroom technology and student Chromebooks are ready to go for the start of school. We have a few favors to ask . . .
πWe hope you enjoy all things summer, but as you close out your classrooms for the year, please ensure these technology items are also taken care of.
π» We have created Google forms for each campus to help us account for and secure technology equipment such as document cameras, Chromebooks, interactive pens, remotes, Zoom cameras, and more. WE WILL BE EMAILING THE LINK TO THE GOOGLE FORMS THIS MONDAY 5/20/24. You must complete this form before leaving your classroom for the summer.

π¨ Email Scares this Week π±
Use Caution Downloading Attachments or Clicking Links in Your Email
Please be safe this summer, and forward the tech team any weird emails that you receive. Many of you emailed the tech team about the suspicious VM Notification/Fax email this week. Look for red flags such as the misspelled word in the subject line (Arived). Avoid opening attached files that are in HTML format which requires the internet to open and download. Also, the green highlighted bar that was posted below the external email notice stating that it was verified to be on the celesteisd.org safe sender list (no such thing). π±π¨
Please contact us if you see this type of attachment. Thanks to all who acted fast and let us know. The faster we can act on this type of incident the better!
π Coming this Fall! π
Have a Fantastic Summer Break! ClassLink coming in August!
We look forward to rolling out our ClassLink program for the start of school. This will be a great tool for all our approved digital applications! Thanks to our ClassLink team of CISD teachers (Broyles, Gimeno, Hise, D'Amico, Lovell, Brown, Waller and Bayiha) for experimenting and trying out ClassLink with your students these last couple of weeks.
Your tech team is available all summer to support you β simply put in an Eduphoria tech request or send us an email.
Congrats to Kathy Hise and Kristie Campbell for emailing about last week's newsletter. They will be receiving Amazon gift cards! π
