Her advice for the school year is, “Get involved in your schools, sports, clubs, and activities. Time goes by fast, so enjoy every minute! Make sure you learn something new every day, challenge yourself, and step out of your comfort zone. We are all capable of accomplishing our dreams and goals if we are determined, and most importantly, make good choices.”

Students with Native American Heritage in Ventura County public schools are invited to enroll in the Ventura County Indian Education Consortium.
This Consortium provides supplemental education services to qualified students in grades TK-12 which entitle them to participate in school-based activities, such as Indian Studies Lessons, Counseling Support, College and Career readiness for Native students, as well as special events, like our Honoring Ceremony, Native American Heritage Month Celebration, and college campus tours. This year students will be learning about Native American Music, Dance and Celebration.
The goals of the program include increasing academic achievement through culturally relevant academic enrichment, increasing knowledge of cultural identity and awareness, and increasing college enrollment.

We are proud to provide all students with a Chromebook through the District’s 1:1 Program. While Chromebooks are provided at no cost to families, proper use and care of the Chromebook is the responsibility of the student and their parent/guardian. To support this program, CVUSD is offering Chromebook Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) program for families to eliminate the concern and costs of repairing or replacing damaged, or stolen Chromebooks.
📍 Important Note: Coverage must be in place prior to a claim being submitted = the time is now to secure Chromebook Accidental Damage Protection for your student's Chromebook!
We're hiring Paraeducators! Our award-winning schools have both full-time and part-time openings for this important role that supports students with disabilities.
