During the month of January, your child will be listening to a variety of books nominated for the 2017 Monarch Award. Every year, the Illinois School Library Media Association (ISLMA) sponsors this children’s choice award. This award is presented to the author and illustrator of the book voted by children in Kindergarten through Grade Three in participating Illinois schools or public libraries.
There are twenty incredible books nominated this year and I cannot wait to see which book the students choose!
