BLMS Student/Parent Memo

We were so excited to able to have students all five days this week and look forward to having them all next week as well. Thank goodness for good weather and hopefully winter is behind us and we can keep going like this. It really is important for continuity of learning to have consistency. It was a great week!

The BLMS Theater Department is presenting three shows of Stuart Little next week. We would love to have anyone who would like to see a great show come out and see our students perform.

We currently have 97 students who are considered ineligible to participate in after school activities this week. That number is way higher than I would like to see it and we offer multiple ways for students to improve those grades and get back to eligibility. We would like to see any students who are currently struggling with D's or F's in study hall after school to help them get caught up on their school work. Study hall is offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm free of charge. We just need to ensure that parents can pick them up at 4:00pm or have someone who can.

We have practice starting for our 7th and 8th grade students starting on March 10th. Any student in 7th and 8th grade who is eligible can participate in track and we currently have about 180 students who have signed up. We look forward to our only home meet on April 1st where we can see all of those students in green and gold out there representing the Bobcats! Students need a physical form and paperwork turned into the office before they are able to participate.

Tryouts for cheer are Thursday, March 6th from 3pm - 5pm in the main gym.
