More great news! Becca Sandberg, also known as Ms. Sandy, who has been teaching 2nd grade, will be teaching the students music next year! You may not know that she has experience teaching music TK-8th grade and we are lucky to have her. Because she is expecting a baby, she will be officially joins us in November!

Open House – Thursday, May 15 | 5:30–7:00 PM

Join us for Open House as we showcase the amazing work our students and teachers have done all year! It’s a wonderful evening to connect, celebrate, and support our school community.

Here’s what to look forward to:

• Tacos 831 will be on-site serving up fresh, delicious food at family-friendly prices.
• The Parent Club Bake Sale will be offering sweet treats for just $2 each. Want to contribute? Please drop off baked goods earlier in the day or when you arrive. Don’t forget to label items with allergy/dietary information.
• Happy Valley gear will also be available for purchase—perfect for showing your school spirit!

Volunteers are still needed for Open House. Please sign up here if you're able to help!

Please Note: the final Parent Club meeting of the year will be in-person only on Wednesday, May 21st at 6:30pm in the school's multipurpose room. This is an adults-only meeting, and no students are expected to be on campus during the event. We hope to see you there!

On our last day of school, the kids get to participate in a variety of choices all day long. Teachers and staff have various stations. We would like to invite parents (who have been fingerprinted) to participate this year! If there is a special activity that you would like to lead, please email Michelle Stewart by Friday, May 16th. Some ideas are group games, face painting, or a fun quick outside art project.

Also, we will be having pizza for all students generously provided by the Parent Club (and would love a volunteer to go to Costco to get it.)! All parents are welcome to come be with their kids at 12:15 pm, if you would like to join them on the last day.
