Personnel Updates
As our school year comes to a close there are two additional faculty members we will say goodbye to at SKS. Mr. Sean Burman will be moving on to a new career path and to focus on his growing family. We wish Mr. Burman all the best in his next adventure and thank him for sharing his talents with us the past 4 years at SKS! Miss Alexandra Quigley will be moving on to the next step in her career in education to teach in private school. We thank Miss Quigley for the dedication, love, and care she has shown to her students over the past 6 years serving our school. We will greatly miss these amazing educators, but wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
We have already started the process of finding a new K-8th music teacher and social studies teacher for grades 5th-7th. In addition, we are happy to share that we will be adding an aide to our 4th grade classrooms for the coming school year. This is a part time role and we welcome any recommendations from our SKS community. Please see below for the newest addition to the SKS faculty!
Meet our new 2nd grade aide: Mrs. Michelle Long
My name is Michelle Long and I am thrilled to join Saint Katharine of Siena School as
the 2 nd grade teacher aide. My husband and I live in Berwyn, are long-time parishioners
of Saint Monica Parish, and have two children, Sarah and Christina. Christina is a rising
4th grader at SKS and Sarah is a rising 8 th grader at Villa Maria Lower School.
I hold a MS Degree, from St. Joseph’s University, in Training and Organizational
Development and have over 20 years of experience in teaching, designing and
implementing learning programs. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to utilize my
skills to support the 2 nd grade teaching team and, most of all, our little learners.
In my free time, I love to garden, read, and attempt to play pickleball. Looking forward to
a fantastic school year!
Thank you, 8th Grade, for teaching us about the Vietnam War last week!

Attention SKS alumni and alumni parents. Please save the date for the event below!
Thank you for a great year!
Words cannot fully express the gratitude I feel as we close out this school year. I am thankful for our students who have worked so hard each day and accomplished so much over the course of the school year. Each child in this school deserves to feel proud of the work they did this year! I am grateful to our teachers for pouring out their love and passion for teaching into their classroom throughout the year. They have cared for, supported, and guided our students so beautifully and fostered relationships with parents to create a strong school-home connection. I am thankful to the parents and family members who have supported our school throughout this year. In a special way I am immensely grateful for everyone's love and support as I navigated a challenging period. The search for our new principal has gone well and news will be shared with our community soon. I will work closely with the new principal and help them transition into the role. We have accomplished so much over the past two years and I can honestly say our amazing school is even better than when I started. I have great faith that our beloved school will continue to soar into the future. I look forward to keeping in touch with this most special community to see all of the phenomenal successes to come!
Have a wonderful summer with your families. Take the time to be truly present and enjoy each moment with your children. They are only this young for a short period of time--savor it and make lots of memories!
God bless you!
Mrs. Crowley
