PBIS Pep Rally
Our Broncos had a blast at last week's Positive Behavior Pep Rally!
This year our Positive Behavior team will be celebrating our Bronco's excellent behavior through pep rallies on our half-days of school.
Shout out to our Broncos who received awards for showing Responsibility and to their teachers and family for the role they play in shaping their character!

Important Attendance Updates and Reminders
We are excited to continue "Soft Starts" this year for your Bronco's day! Every morning from 8:05 - 8:20, students will participate in "Soft Start" activities to help them prepare for their school day prior to our tardy bell at 8:20. We ask and encourage all Broncos to be at school by 8:05 so that they can get ready for learning before the tardy bell.
If you are going to be absent, please be sure to let our Attendance Clerk, Teri McCalip know in advance by calling the campus, 682-867-1010 or emailing her, tmccalip@aisd.net, and your Bronco's teacher.
Thank you in advance for your help in getting your Broncos here by 8:05!

- Parent text/email notifications process will begin after Labor Day. Parents will automatically receive the notification via text and email at 10:30 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m. if the parent has not cleared their child's absence by that time.
- Parents will only receive notifications if their child is marked absent AND they have not contacted the campus to clear the absence. Once a parent has excused their child's absence, they will not receive further notification.

Butler Dress Code
I’d like to follow up on a recent conversation I had with our Broncos about the school dress code and the expectations for appropriate attire. Below is a flyer modeling our expectations for the Butler Dress Code.
Please note the following key points:
- Oversized hoodies and shirts should be tucked in or worn with shorts/pants in dress code.
- Shirts and tops must touch the waist of pants/skirts when the student is standing upright.
- Shorts, skirts, and dresses should be longer than fingertip length when arms are at the sides.
Straps on tops must be at least two inches wide.
For a complete outline of the dress code, please refer to the attached Butler Dress Code Policy and the District Student Code of Conduct.
This policy helps maintain a comfortable and respectful environment for all students. We kindly ask that you support your child in following these guidelines as they prepare for school each day. In the event of a dress code violation, students will either be asked to change into clothes provided on campus or parents will be contacted to bring a change of clothes.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.
