Happy Monday, Magi Families!
It’s that busy time of year again! I know the Magi Messenger is packed with information, but remember you can always use the Table of Contents to quickly access new items. Last week was homecoming, it was an incredible week showcasing the very best that our community is. I am so very proud of the students, educators and neighbors who made it a special week. Shout out to Mrs. Ann Vinson at CHS who leads our Student Council to plan Homecoming festivities & also to Mr. Austin Stoll at Colon Elementary who started a great Teachers v. Students Basketball game tradition. GO MAGI!
This Wednesday is Count Day. It is critically important that all students who are healthy are in school with us everyday, but ESPECIALLY on Count Day. It’s essential that all healthy students are in attendance, as it directly impacts our ability to continue offerings in academics and other programs such as CARE, additional clubs and updated curriculum. The leaves are changing quickly around town, and the ones in my yard remind me of the simple beauty that each season brings. I wish the very best for you & yours this season. Happy Autumn!

Last week, we assessed students in both reading and math at CES and CHS to gather baseline data. This information will help us provide personalized interventions and instructional support for students. During our professional learning session on Monday, September 16th, our staff will begin using this data to better meet student needs.
