Dress Code Update and Reminders
As warm weather approaches, please see the dress code update and reminders below:
- Starting April 1, shorts, skirts and dresses must be fist length i.e. no shorter than the bottom of the fist when arms are by the side.
- Holes in jeans must be no higher than fist length
- Midriffs should be totally covered at all times
- Shoulders must be covered with at least a 2 inch strap
- Pajama pants and bedroom shoes/slippers are not allowed
- Hats and hoodies are not allowed inside the building

Course Selection - AP and Advanced Courses are Still Available
HTHS students have selected courses for the 2024-25 school year, however, Advanced and AP course selections continue to be available to all students. Students wishing to change a selection to an Advanced or AP course are encouraged to see their counselor. Every college bound student is encouraged to take at least one AP class while in high school. Through the A+ College Ready Grant, every student who achieves a qualifying score on an AP test earns $100 per qualifying score.
