Richey First Take
September 1, 2024
First Week is Done!
Dear Richey Families,
As we wrap up our first week of the school year, I want to extend my gratitude to you for your support in making the transition back to school smooth and successful. Our students have returned with great enthusiasm, and it's been wonderful to see their excitement as they settle into their new routines. Teachers have been working diligently to create welcoming and engaging classrooms, and I'm pleased to share that the first week has been filled with positive energy and productive learning.
We understand that the start of the school year can be an adjustment for both students and families, and I want to assure you that we are here to support you every step of the way. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns as we continue this journey together. Your partnership is invaluable, and we look forward to a year of growth, learning, and success for all our students.
Warm regards,
Gregg Johnson

Car Tags
Regardless of whether your student will ride a bus to school or be picked up in the car rider line. It is important to keep your car tag on hand as you may need to pick up your child at some point during the year. Car tags help to ensure that we dismiss students from school in a safe and efficient manner.
Morning Carline
- It is single file carline.
- Please pull all the way up until the end of the sidewalk.
- Do not pass other cars.

- A staff member will call your child's number and they will come out to you.
- They will exit out of the door next to the cafeteria on the side of the building.

- You will need to fill out an independent walker form. (Even if you filled one out last year)
- You back pick up these forms in the office.
- You can also pick up the form on Meet the Teacher Night.
