Summer Meals for Students
Families who need assistance this summer with meals can check for local Summer Meal Sites at idoenutrition.com or via the USDA Site Finder Map.
- The State of Indiana is NOT continuing the SUN Bucks program from last year.
- Families seeking food assistance for their children can contact the USDA National Hunger Hotline, operated by Hunger Free America. The hotline can be reached Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET at 1-866-348-6479.
- If you have additional questions, please reach out to our Food Service team at 219-663-3371.

Thank you to the many families who participated in our Mutlicultural Fair, organized by our Multilingual Learner team! There were delicious foods, games, dances, and experiences from the many cultures and languages represented throughout our district. Did you know that besides English, CPCSC students speak more than 30 languages in their homes? Spanish, Macedonian, Arabic, and Urdu are the most common.
Thank you to the Ceramics II students for hosting Dr. Terrill in the latest episode of Super Things! If you haven't seen how talented these students are, don't miss the video below. Keep an eye on our social media this summer for episodes about marine science and folk dancing!
We had more than 70 community partners at our Exceptional Education information night where families received resources for their students' future. Thank you to everyone who attended!
Many clubs and sports in our district offer summer camp opportunities. We sent a list just before Spring Break, but in case you missed it, the link to the information is below. With more than 20 camps, there is something for every student!
Please keep the following information in mind regarding the 2025-2026 school year.
- Annual registration takes place in late July. We will email families approximately a week before with more detailed instructions. Information will also be available on our website.
- Keep an eye out for the summer edition of We Are CP in your home mailbox in mid-July. It will have registration information, back to school details, and more.

- Crown Point 2025 Summer Art Camp | Grades 4, 5, 6 June Summer Art Camp June 17, 19, 24 and 26 | Grades 1, 2, 3 July Summer Art Camp July 8, 10, 15 and 17 | $130 per student | Registration and fee due by June 10 | Camp to be held at Lake Street Elementary School
