Lions Leading! Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices
Thank you!
I’d like to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Hartson for her dedication to fostering meaningful classroom discussions. She recently designed a lesson that promotes student engagement through academic discourse, thoughtfully incorporating sentence frames to guide and support student conversations.
This approach not only helps students develop critical thinking and communication skills but also creates an inclusive environment where all voices are encouraged and valued.

Project Based Learning!- Two Bit Circus Trip
Tuesday December 17th
This Tuesday, our 7th-grade students will be showcasing their incredible PBL (Project-Based Learning) project: designing and creating their very own arcade games! This interdisciplinary project brought together teachers from math, science, and humanities to guide students in applying their skills and creativity to develop and present their work.
In addition to the showcase, students will also be visiting Two Bit Circus to experience live arcade games, adding an exciting hands-on element to their learning journey.
We are so proud of the hard work and collaboration our students have demonstrated throughout this project, and we can’t wait for you to see their creativity in action!
