Grading
Both transcripts and report cards are posted in Studentvue. Should you need a transcript for summer programs or scholarships this transcript should work for you.
Seniors
Mid year transcripts are being sent to all of the colleges you have already applied to. It can take up to a week for colleges to process, download or receive your transcripts after we have sent them. This is a good time to review what you have in Common App and what is showing in Schoolinks to make certain all colleges are showing in both places.
Important Dates and Times:
2/15 - 1pm-3pm - RRHS FAFSA Workshop - register below
2/18 - Military Night @ Independence HS
Scheduling for Next Year
This week counselors met individually with students in 9th and 10th grade students to go over course requests. Please check with your student and look over their selections in Schoolinks. Counselors will follow up with students who missed meeting with them.
Juniors
It is time to book your required academic advising appointment with your counselor. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your classes for next year, any additional graduation requirements, and plans following high school graduation. In addition, students applying to college will discuss the checkpoints necessary to complete the application process.
Parents & Guardians please encourage your junior to book their appointment as soon as possible. Thank you for your help!
Here is the link you need to book your appointment.
Each appointment is 30 minutes.
What is Course Planner?
Course Planner is an interactive tool, a part of the SchooLinks platform, that easily allows students to select courses and indicate their interest in academic pathways. Students will also clearly be able to see what course requirements have been met to support short and long-term planning for graduation.
Check out this SchooLinks video for an overview of Course Planner.
