Extended Learning Programs
October Edition
Lights on After School: Parents of After School Students, join us from 5-6pm on Oct. 24 at your school sites to celebrate the nationwide event, Lights on After School, which shines a light on the impact after school programs are making inspiring learning and supporting the well-being of youth and families.
ASP Policies Please review the After School policies linked here English Policy and Spanish Policy
We have had a few incidents where students have left their classroom and not gone directly to after school. Instead, they have left campus. Please help us by reminding your child how important it is for them to go straight to the after school program, and you need them to be in the program to ensure they have something fun and safe to do after school so you can focus on your work. Children who do not report directly to after school could be dismissed from the program. Please see the highlighted information from our after school policy below.
Transition from the classroom to after school:
Students should arrive to the program
IMMEDIATELY after school. The program
cannot be responsible for students who have
not checked-in with the program right after school.
Your Feedback is Important: We would like to hear from you. Please take a moment to answer our two questions on the link provided.
Sports: We are pleased to announce the success of our 5th and 6th grade volleyball program. As we move forward, our next offering will be flag football. Parents planning to attend Friday games are kindly reminded to complete the Parent Code of Conduct form and submit it to the after-school program staff at your respective site. We encourage all attendees to model good sportsmanship by cheering for both teams. Please refer to the schedule below for the locations of Friday’s games. Additionally, our Flag Football Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, with further details to be provided via ParentSquare. Our students are enthusiastic about the upcoming events, and we look forward to your participation and support!
Saturday Programs: The Young Inventors Program culminated in a field trip to the Air Show! Students had an incredible time. Now we are gearing up for our next round of programming, which starts on Oct. 5. Please check the flyer below for information of what is being offered for your school at this time.
