Second Grade Fun

TUESDAY IS OUR BIG DAY!!

We load the bus at 8:20 and leave for the CMX theater (north by old Shopko) .The movie starts at 9:30 and we should be back about 12:30.

PARENTS THAT ARE JOINING US...

*Be to the theater a little before 9 so you can get your ticket ($7) and a drink/popcorn (optional-$7)

*We hope to be there about 9:00 or just a few minutes after. Find your child and let the teacher know that you have them. They are now your responsibility. Students will need to use the bathroom and then they can get their drink. The popcorn will be INSIDE the theater. If you have multiple kids take them to either of the designated theater choices and enjoy your show. When the show ends, bring them back to the teacher or para. That's it!!

MATH- reviewing double facts, near doubles/doubles plus 1, flipping the facts, making 10.

working on counting money-pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters

Simple games to play at home-memory match and war.

Science/STEM- Bone Bridges (Qtips and tape) and Skeletons (Mystery Science)

SPELLING-NO SPELLING THIS WEEK!!

See the flyer that went home today. It is the same as last year. If you are in need of a costume, please contact me. The school has a few costumes you may borrow.
