Student Handbook Distribution:
Wednesday, January 29 - Omega students in GSP & students in band
Wednesday band students will report to Band for attendance and then be escorted to Omega GSPs.
Omega students who have choir or orchestra will report to music.
Orchestra students will report to Orchestra for attendance and then be escorted to Zeta GSPs. (If you attended the previous day, you will stay in orchestra)
Zeta students in band or choir will report to music.
Choir students will report to choir for attendance and then be escorted to Rho GSPs.
If you are a choir student and you have already attended, go to choir.
If you are a music student who does not have GSP on the day your team is assigned or music on the day your music group is assigned to attend, please email Dr. Abueg - ksabueg@mpsomaha.org.
Course Request Survey:
- Monday, February 10 - Omega & students in band
- Wednesday, February 12 - Zeta & students in orchestra
- Thursday, February 13 - Rho & students in choir

Students Attending Millard North or Millard South
January 29, 30, 31 - Students will attend the same Curriculum Handbook session with Millard West.
On February 13, representatives from Millard North and on February 12, representatives from Millard South will be at Beadle to meet with students during GSP and complete the Course Request in StudentVUE.
IMPORTANT: If Millard North or Millard South is NOT your assigned home school, you will need to complete an application for a Within-District Transfer by February 15.
Application for Early College and AFJROTC is a separate process. Admission to these programs still requires a Within-District Transfer to Millard South if this is not your home school.
Students NOT Attending a Millard School in 9th Grade
Students who will not be attending a Millard school next year will join the Millard West group for these activities but do not have to complete a Course Request. If you’re still unsure about plans for next year, it’s best to complete the Registration to your assigned high school and adjustments can be made later.International Baccalaureate Information Night
If your student is planning to attend Millard North High School, consider the IB programs! MNHS is one of only three Nebraska high schools to offer the Diploma Program, and we also offer the Middle Years Program for 9th and 10th graders. The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Join us for the Millard West 7th and 8th Grade Pep Band Night on Tuesday, January 21st!
Here's the scoop:
Become a Pep Band Member for the Day: Suit up in your Millard West gear/colors and play alongside the Millard West Pep Band!
Cheer on the Wildcats! Help us roar our loudest as the Millard West Varsity Basketball team takes on Benson! 🏀
Make New Friends: Meet your high school instrument section and other middle schoolers who share your love for music and school spirit! 🎶
Here's the Schedule:
5:00 pm - Kick-off with Fun: Meet in Band Room #411 for hilarious games hosted by our own Band Dad and Comedian, Matt Geiler! Get ready for laughter and excitement. After the games, everyone will enjoy a delicious dinner.🍕
6:30 pm - Wildcat Pep Band Experience: The highlight of the evening! Students will join the Millard West Wildcats Pep Band in the stands, cheering on the Wildcats as they take on Benson! 🎷
8:30 pm: Parents pick up 🚗
Don't forget to bring your instrument! (Percussionists: bring your sticks and practice pad!)
