Parent Workshop offered for Spring Creek and Awbrey Park Families
Dear Spring Creek and Awbrey Park Families,
We are very excited to offer four parent workshops based on the concepts of Conscious Discipline®. Come learn, connect and explore approaches that empower
you with skills to help create a safe, connected, problem-solving environment for
your family. Spring Creek and Awbrey Park staff members will be leading these
workshops. Attendance at all four sessions is encouraged but not required. All
sessions will take place on Zoom from 6-7:30pm starting on Monday, January
24th and are FREE!
This is an approach to parenting built around the science of crafting caring and
respectful relationships. An authentic, loving connection between parents/
guardians and their children is the root of a healthy, thriving relationship built on
trust and understanding. This is a great way to empower children to make
positive choices.
The 4 classes offered will be:
• Monday, January 24th- Introduction to Conscious Discipline. We’re all in
this Together
• Thursday, February 17th- Composure: Being the Person You Want
Children to Become
• April (To be scheduled)-Assertiveness: Setting Limits Respectfully
• May (To be scheduled)-Encouragement: Noticing, Accepting and
Connecting with Children
We will be offering gift cards to local restaurants and books/tools for each
session that you attend. Gift Cards will be sent to you AFTER you have attended
a session.
Please RSVP online at: https://forms.gle/N1mtLVy2o9VTdgpP9
We will email you a reminder before each session with a link to the Zoom meeting.
