The 7th season competition, in partnership with Varsity Brands, Inc., was held December 4-5 at the Columbus State Center.
Teams competed in areas they use to lead a crowd at a game on "Game Day" at a football or basketball game. There are three segments on which they will be judged: cheer, band chant, and fight song. The teams scoring the highest in these three segments were the finalists and then combined all of these areas in an additional three-minute routine.
Appreciation goes to Columbus Civic Center, Varsity Spirit, Unforgettable Moment Photography, NFHS Network, GoFan, GHSA staff, volunteers, sponsors, cheerleaders, coaches and fans for a successful event.
