This has been a crazy busy week here at Trollwood! The Mainstage Musical is in its final week of rehearsals before next week's performances, the Totally Trollwood Musical is in full swing, ArtSpark returned to the campus, and the Volunteer Fire-Up event was held on Thursday to get our volunteers ready for The Addams Family performance nights.

The Addams Family team returned to the Bluestem Amphitheater from its holiday break with the final days of tech rehearsals before performances next week! They are set to stay hard at work through the weekend with dress rehearsals this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. And then the moment they've all been waiting for, opening night is next Tuesday, with performances next Tuesday-Saturday, July 16-20, and the following Tuesday-Saturday, July 23-27.

Totally Trollwood Musical held its first full week of rehearsals this week over at Fargo North High School, after completing auditions and callbacks last week before the holiday weekend. They had a big week as they took their first steps towards their performances of Matilda Jr. on July 30 and 31.

ArtSpark returned to Trollwood this week and the kids are excited to perform for their guests today! As is the way of ArtSpark, the elementary school-aged students did a spectacular job of pulling their shows together in four days. There are two more weeks of ArtSpark sessions coming up next week, July 15-19 and the following week, July 22-26.

Our students are excited for rehearsals to begin next Monday for the Trollwood Children's Theatre production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Kids. TCT will be rehearsing weekdays at Discovery Middle School as they prepare for their performances on August 6.

The Trollwood Players rehearsals kick off at Fargo South High School also on Monday. This year, TTP is proud to present Fix it in Post!, a series of comedic sketches written by director Scott McClure. The play tells the story of a filmmaker, the actors, and the movie they are trying to make. Performances are August 7 and 8.

The Mainstage Musical team is in its last full week of rehearsals for The Addams Family before audiences fill the Bluestem Amphitheater beginning next Tuesday! With tech rehearsals in full gear, everyone has been working hard this week. They're looking forward to dress rehearsals Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as they put the final touches on the show before opening night. Check out some photos from rehearsal below.

The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

The 2024 Mainstage Musical production The Addams Family opens NEXT TUESDAY and runs July 16-20 & 23-27! Tickets can be purchased online by clicking the button below or in person at the Trollwood Box Office.

Thanks to a partnership with MATBUS, we are offering a free shuttle service to Bluestem for performances of The Addams Family! Attendees can park in the southwest corner of the Azool Hornbacher's parking lot, where buses will line up for pickup. Totally Trollwood Musical completed its first full week of rehearsals this week as they prepare to bring Matilda Jr. to the stage July 30 & 31!
