Hello Jet Families!
Happy Fall! It is hard to believe that our first quarter will be soon coming to an end! Our students have been working SO HARD to make academic gains this year! We are so proud of their hard work!
Although we have not experienced it thus far, with Fall comes cooler temps...especially in the morning. Make sure your kiddos are dressed appropriately for the weather each day. Students will go out for recess unless the weather is in our pre-cautionary zones. We want students to be as comfortable as possible when we are experiencing cooler weather.
As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who walks through our doors-students, teachers, parents, and families always feel welcomed! I strongly believe in open communication and a strong home and school connection. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or celebrations!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Hunt
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SEPTEMBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH!
OUR BOOK FAIR IS HERE! OCT. 7-11
Our Book Fair will run from Monday, Oct. 7th until Friday, Oct. 11th. The book fair will also be open in the evening from 4-6pm on Wednesday, Oct. 9th and Thursday, Oct. 10th for parents to come and shop with their students. Parents may come into the building to shop with students in the mornings from 8:30-9am only. Each class will have a scheduled time each day for shopping during school hours. If you wish for your child to purchase books/items, please send them to school with money. $5.00 is a good minimum amount to start with. Thank you in advance for helping our library raise funds to purchase more books and materials for our students.
RED RIBBON WEEK, OCT. 22-25
Veteran's Day Program
EARLY ARRIVAL
TARDIES/EARLY CHECK-OUTS
Please make sure your child is getting to school on time everyday! We start our instructional day right away at 9:00am! We have our school-wide intervention & enrichment time shortly after the start of school. This is a very important time of day when your child receives targeted, individualized instruction based on their academic needs. We need students in class on time! Remember, three tardies OR three early check-outs equal an absence!
