Wildcat Weekly 2/10-2/14

Hi Wildcats! 🐾
Hi Wildcats!
Since it rained on our parade today, we are rescheduling Friday Flag for next week, Friday, 2/14.
We hope you were able to join us for the Sock Hop and enjoyed being together as a community for some fun and dancing! Thank you PAWs for organizing our Family Dance!

Save the Date - Upcoming Family Education Nights
Mark your calendars... Pomerado is hosting a Family Literacy Night on Thursday, Feb. 27 and a Family Math Night on Thursday, March 27.
Family Literacy Night
Join us for a Family Literacy Night where we will review the IMSE program and explore how kids learn to read through the Science of Reading approach. This research-backed method focuses on how the brain processes language and emphasizes foundational skills like phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. During the session, you'll gain valuable insights into how these key components come together to help your child become a successful reader, and how the IMSE program supports this development. You'll leave with practical strategies to support your child's reading journey at home!
All Wildcat families are welcome! This event will focus on the IMSE Comprehensive program which students experience in grade Kinder through 2nd.
Students are welcome to attend with you. :)
Please RSVP by completing this short survey to reserve your spot before Friday 2/21

Digital Citizenship
Managing Screen Time
Managing screen time is an essential part of supporting children’s well-being and academic success in today’s digital world. Technology offers incredible opportunities for learning and creativity, but maintaining a healthy balance is key. Setting clear boundaries and encouraging mindful tech habits at home helps children develop the skills they need to navigate their digital lives responsibly. By working together to create a balanced approach to technology use, we can empower students to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
