Yes, the deadline for transfer applications to the University of California (UC) for the fall 2025 semester has been extended to January 15, 2025:

• Affected campuses: UC Davis, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz
• Affected majors: Select majors

No! The number one thing we tell students is to read, read, read your emails. You will begin to receive many emails from the schools you applied to. They will ask you to complete the TAU or Transfer Academic Update by January 31st. After applying, you are required to update your grades and course records. Learn more here.

Throughout the spring 2025 semester, the Transfer Center will host a variety of workshops to help you through the transfer process. Please attend or stop by the center for more information.

Please do not forget to apply for the Award Spring scholarships.

Students must apply by Tuesday, February 4, 2025, by 11:59 pm to be considered for an NVC scholarship. In order to qualify students must meet the following criteria:

• Have completed 12 units at Napa Valley College by the end of fall 2024 semester.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. However, some scholarships require a higher GPA.
• Be enrolled at Napa Valley College in fall 2024 semester.
• Be enrolled at Napa Valley College spring 2025 in 6 or more units.
• Current Napa Valley College students who plan to transfer to a university in fall 2025 or continue at NVC next academic year are also eligible.

Graduation Petition deadline for spring 2025 is March 7th. Students must meet with a counselor to complete petitions for degrees and certificates.
