It’s hard to believe that March is already here, and Spring Break is just around the corner! We hope you have plans to relax and spend time with family and friends. With only one week left in the third nine weeks, please remind your students to stay focused, complete any outstanding assignments, and finish strong. Their hard work and dedication make a difference!
Thank you for your ongoing support—we appreciate all you do to encourage and motivate our students. We also appreciate you taking the time to read our CHS News! VIRTUAL JOB FAIR
Attention Parents! Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) is planning to host a virtual job fair for interested juniors and seniors throughout Conroe ISD. They are looking for local companies who are interested in hiring our Conroe ISD students for summer jobs and/or long-term jobs for seniors. ABSENCE REPORTING APP
To simplify the process for our families, CISD is excited to launch a new app that allows you to conveniently report your student's absences. Please note that supporting documentation, such as doctor's notes, will still need to be submitted to attendance: chsattendance@conroeisd.net or dropped off in the attendance office. The reporting app can be accessed through the Parent Portal and directions can be found by clicking HERE
CLASS OF 2025
Parents of the Class of 2025, please be sure to see the Senior Dates Flyer below. There have been a few additions and a few changes. A few other things:
- See below for a Fundraiser for Operation Graduation!
- ImaginLIGHT will be here next Wednesday, March 5 to take senior cap & gown pictures in the cafeteria. These pictures are for personal use only and must be purchased, they will not be in the yearbook. Caps and gowns will be provided, but seniors must sign up by Monday, March 3 to receive a pass on picture day. Sign up through the QR code on the flyers around school, or that was sent out via email. Order forms will be distributed this week.
AP STUDENT CONFERENCE
The AP Student Conference will be on Saturday, April 12 at The Woodlands High School. Please reach out to your child's counselor or Kim Sprayberry for more information.
GOLDEN GIRL TRYOUTS
Love to Dance? Want to be a Golden Girl or Goldie? Audition packets are now available Online just search chs golden girls or find the link on our instagram pages @chs_golden_girls or @chs.goldies . There is a mandatory Audition Meeting Wednesday, March 19 at 6:30 PM in the Cafeteria. Candidates AND a Parent or Guardian must be present at this meeting in order to audition.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

CISD SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT INPUT MEETINGS
The CISD Special Education Department will be starting some Special Education Parent Input Meetings. See the flyer below under CISD Events. Please CLICK HERE for the February Parent Resources Newsletter.
STUDENT SAFETY REMINDERS
Students must wear a valid student ID that is visible, chest level and above, and on their person (not attached to a backpack or held in their hands).
Students should NOT open an exterior door to allow anyone to come inside.
Students are not allowed to leave campus unless they are checked out through our Attendance Office by a parent/guardian.
It is imperative that everyone follows these rules and expectations every day. Students who fail to follow our expectations will receive consequences.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
CHS wants All Tigers to Achieve. A large part of student success is related to student attendance. We want to teach our Tigers all we can in the days that we have with them. Please encourage your student to attend every period to gain the knowledge they need to be successful. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office or see the new Student Absence Reporting App information below. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed. We would also like to remind you that your child will be at risk of losing credit and parents/guardians may have to go to court due to attendance.

ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE
Parents here is an incentive for your students to earn this week. We will do call-in competitions for 3rd and 4th periods every day this week. We will deliver breakfast to their classroom that day. Encourage your student to be there and be on time to class.
FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH
If you need to apply for the free and reduced lunch program please visit the Conroe ISD Child Nutrition website. If you are in need of information regarding the program please see the attached flyers for information. Students who were on free or reduced lunch year and have not filled out an application and requalified have been dropped. If you need assistance please contact ndefensor@conroeisd.net at CHS and acarlito@conroeisd.net at CHS 9.
CISD LUNCH CHARGE POLICY
Child Nutrition offers meal service for breakfast and lunch to the children of Conroe ISD from EC-12th grade on a daily basis during the school year. Students are allowed 15 days (breakfast and lunch) to charge their meals. Once the 15-day charges have expired, the student is no longer allowed to charge.
SPIRIT NIGHTS AND FUNDRAISERS

- Conroe Tiger Band is having a fundraiser at Jersey Mikes on Tuesday, March 4th!
- Conroe High School Operation Graduation Class of 2025 Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser Class of 2025! Want to score a free ticket to Operation Graduation? - Conroe PTO and our Family Engagement Program is raffling a Pit Boss. The drawing will be held on March 8, 2025. See the flyer below for additional details.
- Conroe Tiger Tennis has a fundraiser called RaiseRight. You can sign up to order physical gift cards, eGift cards and reloadable cards from RaiseRight, and a percentage of the sales goes directly to the Conroe Tiger Tennis Booster Club! Click HERE for details.
