Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 3 Issue 13 - 11/17/24
Clipper Nation,
First term report cards went live on Friday. Students will receive a paper copy of their report card on Monday in their 5th period class. If you have not done so already, please talk to your students about their grades.
Keep in mind that any student who completed the term without recovering their absences for any absences beyond four unexcused days received all "E"s on their report card. If your student needs to make up missed days, please ensure they attend Step Up sessions. Details about Step Up are provided below. The last day to recover attendance for the first term will be November 26th.
As we move forward, please encourage your students to attend school every day unless they have fewer or are extremely sick. Attending is the best way to ensure success at school. Please check out the Arrive to Thrive video.
It is that time of year to nominate a teacher for Teacher of the Year. Please consider nominating a JMB teacher for Teacher of the Year.

Anyone in the community may seek recognition for an educator quickly and easily using the online nomination form. Senior Portrait Info
Seniors! Now is the time to start planning for your senior portraits. You do NOT want to wait until it is too late and miss out on getting your picture in the yearbook!
You have a couple of options for getting portraits taken but, regardless of the option you choose, the deadline to submit the formal portrait for the yearbook is Deadline moved to December 1st!
Option #1 -Prestige
Prestige is the senior portrait division of Lifetouch. These are a fundraiser for JMB so any sessions or photos taken with Prestige/Lifetouch benefit our school.
Portraits taken through Prestige will be submitted directly to JMB for the yearbook. You simply have to choose the photo you want after your session, and they will do the rest.
Prestige is now booking appointments
· Find the Salisbury, Maryland studio from the list of locations.
· Select “Location Details” to schedule a session.
Please note: All portrait sessions by Prestige will take place at their studio.

Prestige has the drape or tux, and the correct background needed for the formal portrait.
Option #2 – Private Photographer
You may choose to have your senior portraits taken by any private photographer that you choose. There are many in the area that will do them.
*Please Note: When booking a private photographer, make sure they are able to meet the criteria for the formal portrait. The student must wear either a drape or a tux and it must have a blue or gray background.
You will need submit a digital image of your Senior Formal to our yearbook advisor,
