Coming Up This Week! Our Annual Fall Festival and Parade is on Thursday, October 31st starting at 2:00PM. All students are allowed to wear an appropriate school costume for the parade. Please refrain from sending plastic weapons or dress in scary costumes. Students are asked to bring costume accessories to school and are able to wear their costume basics to school that day. What does that mean. If you are wearing special shirts and pants and colored hair for your costume please feel free to wear them to school. Thursday is a dress a down day.

Many students dress in unique costumes. I'm often asked "Are we allowed to dress up as a Saint"? The answer is "YES". We want the day to be fun for everyone. Classroom festivities will follow the parade. Please contact your child's teacher for more information about the classroom festivities.

Next week we will be celebrating mass on Wednesday and Friday morning at 9:30am. Friday is the feast of "All Saints" and we invite you to mass to celebrate with us.

Just a reminder that the cold and flu season is upon us. Please remember if your child is running a fever to keep them home. Also the weather is unpredictable and we ask that your children bring outerwear to school(coats) The only hoodies allowed to be worn in the school are St. Mary's hoodies. Thank you for your cooperation in regards to hoodies.

Student Council is Hosting A Pumpkin Decorating Contest Next Week. Please bring in your decorated pumpkin by Thursday. No carving please.

Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30PM Christmas Program

Seventh and Eighth grade students studied the manufacturing process and developed a mini business where they took cookie orders, figured out the way to efficiently make the orders and deliver them to their customers. Problem solving and critical thinking skills were used when the teams realized they were short on a specific cookie. The fastest time was 19 minutes and 48 seconds to frost 52 cookies
