Hello West Ridge Families!!!

The first two weeks of school have been full of meeting students and building relationships. We are off to a great start!

Reminders:

• No school tomorrow 9-13-24
• Please be sure to put your child's name on lunchboxes, sweatshirts, jackets, gloves and hats. This way we can get them returned when they are left on the playground.

Fall Weather and Rain:

The weather is getting cooler. Dress your child in layers to help with the changing temperatures. We go outside unless it is raining.

• Students can arrive at school no earlier than 8:30 am
• They can go to the playground for recess or have breakfast in the cafetria
• Students that are dropped off by their parents in the morning and are having breakfast enter through the main doors.
• Students that are dropped off by their in the morning and are NOT having breakfast can enter through the southgate and head to the playground.

• Car-Pick Up Line: Parent remains in car in the car line to pick up their child(ren)
• Southgate Pick-Up: Parents park their car and meet their child(ren) at the playground gate in the front of the building on the south side.
• Bus: Students ride the bus home
• Walking: Students walk home
• GAP: Students go to the afterschool childcare program at West Ridge

Change of End of Day Transportation:

If there is ever a change in transportation for your child, please call the office by 2:30 to let us know the change. Even if you communicate the change with your child's classroom teacher, we still need you to call the office to let us know of the change as well. Thank you for help with this.

If you would like to order any West Ridge Elementary gear for yourself or your student(s), please follow this LINK. The estore will be open until September 20th, 2024. All orders will be delivered to the school 12-14 days after the estore closes.

EVERY WEDNESDAY is WEST RIDGE WEDNESDAY...students and staff are invited to wear their West Ridge shirts.

Hello Post Falls Community,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the re-opening of our Community Clothes Closet here at New Vision High School on Tuesday, September 10th. This is open for any in the community who need clothing. This is only possible due to the very generous donations and gifts from the businesses and community of Post Falls.

The Community Clothes Closet seeks to provide free clothing to all people in need. We provide casual and career clothes and footwear to children, women and men from all across our community and we do it all for free. We also have hygiene items.

We are located in a portable behind New Vision High School. You can enter through the small gate on Catherine Street on the east side of the building.

We are open Tuesdays from 2:45pm to 3:45pm. If these times do not work you may email me at Richard.raynor@sd273.com and we can set a day/time to meet.

We currently do not need any donations.
