Wishing our SBRSD Families a Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear SBRSD Families,
This week’s News & Notes provides me with the privilege of expressing my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who makes SBRSD such an extraordinary place to teach, learn, and grow together.
At SBRSD, we are more than just a school community—we are a family. Each day, our School Committee, Administrative Team, teachers, and staff share their incredible gifts, talents, and unwavering commitment to our students and families. Your dedication and selflessness create profound and lasting impacts, empowering students to grow, thrive, and discover their unique paths to success.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting us with your most cherished gift. Your support and partnership remind us of the tremendous responsibility we share in nurturing and inspiring the next generation.
And to our amazing students—you are the heart of SBRSD. Your creativity, curiosity, resilience, and determination inspire us every day. You make us laugh, you make us reflect, and you challenge us to continually strive to be better.
I am grateful for each and every one of you. Together, we make SBRSD a truly special place.
Out of tradition, I thought I would share a piece I found several years ago called “Be Thankful”. Although the author is unknown, to me, it captures the spirit of Thanksgiving, while reminding us to be grateful always for all the good that we have in our lives.
The holiday season is a gift that gives everyone a chance to be a little kinder and more understanding. Whenever possible, give the gift of a nice word to a student, coworker, parent, or family member you know who might need it, as sometimes it’s these simple gestures that has the most profound effect on someone else.
I wish you all the very best this Thanksgiving, and always.
In Gratitude,
Dr Beth Regulbuto, Superintendent of Schools
