Important reminders:

• The submission form closes on Wednesday, March 5th at 9:00pm. After that, it will be closed for good, as T-shirt orders start going out to our vendor first thing the next morning.
• K-5 students and staff who submit their logs online and earned 80 or more checks are eligible for a free T-shirt! Expect your T-shirt to arrive by the first week of May.

• We want EVERYONE to submit their log, even if they didn't earn a T-shirt.Logs with 10+ checks help boost your school’s overall participation and could help your school earn wellness initiative money.

Kindness Challenge

The Ivy Stockwell Kindness Challenge runs from February 19th to March 14th, encouraging students to spread kindness within the school community. In addition to in-school activities, students received an optional Kindness Bingo form in their Thursday folders. Those who complete and return it to Mrs. H will earn a prize.

What Exactly is the Berthoud Bash?

The Berthoud Bash is the Berthoud Schools Fund’s one-and-only, annual spring event that combines the traditional aspects of a fundraising gala (dinner and auctions) without any of the boring stuff like long-winded speeches or awards presentations. Attendees come to the Bash with two goals- to raise a lot of money for the 5 Berthoud Schools and to have a great time. The best part of the Berthoud Bash... is that all the money raised stays in the Berthoud Community. The Bash is our community coming together to support our schools.

As you may know, the Thompson School District Board of Education has begun searching for our next Superintendent of Schools to follow Dr. Schaffer when he leaves us at the end of the current school year.

The Board has hired McPherson & Jacobson, a national school superintendent search firm, to assist us in finding the most qualified candidates available. As part of this important work, the Board has asked our search consultants to gather information and comments from stakeholders. So we would very much appreciate it if you would take just a couple of minutes to answer a few questions through an anonymous online survey. Dear Families,

If you need to update/review your student contacts, please follow the directions located on the Thompson School District website at www.tsd.org/family/infinite-campus/help/updating-contacts. Please note that as a parent/guardian you will be able to completely review your student information, household details, emergency contacts and more by completing the Annual Family Check In which will open on March 3, 2025.

Our 2nd Annual Elementary Unified Sports Day will be May 15th from 10:30 am to 1 pm at Thompson Valley High School's Ray Patterson Field. This is open to all TSD IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) elementary students. Lunch and transportation for participating students will be included. Please come join the fun and support our students! Here is the link to a printable flyer.

Are you interested in your child being ready for kindergarten? The Thompson School District's Integrated Early Childhood Program provides quality preschool experiences for three and four year olds at 15 different sites around the Loveland and Berthoud area.

If your child will be 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2025, your child may be eligible to participate in the Thompson School District's Early Childhood Program. We ask all interested families to complete our Preschool Interest Form available on our preschool website. If you have any questions about our program, please call 970-613-5052.
