JOHNSON FAMILY NEWSLETTER
MAY 2024
PRINCIPAL CORNER
Dear Johnson Parents,
I would like to wish all our Johnson Moms, a Happy Mother’s Day!
It has been quite a busy month here at school with the planning of end of year events. I would like to thank all of you for your patience and understanding while we go through the excitement of the end of the year.
As I reflect on our 23-24 School Year, I am proud to say we are at a point where we now pivot, we celebrate our accomplishments and achievements of the year! Once again, our Kinder Grade Level came in top three for reading assessments, our Second-Grade level grew in the right direction, and our First and Third Grades came in first place for our Silverbell Region. WOW!!! I truly appreciate all your support!
Please make sure you look at our calendar events; we have a packed May month to close out the year. I would like to commend Our Site School Council for their dedication and work in overlooking our IAP process (Integrated Action Plan). We were able to complete our process and our plan was uploaded to AZ Dept. of Education.
I would also like to thank our Parent Teacher Organization, with their hard work, they were able to get some fundraising complete even with a little mighty team.
Thank you for our gifts during Teacher/Staff Appreciation week. It was great to Celebrate our Heroes in the Classroom!
On behalf of the staff here at Johnson Primary I want to thank you all for your generosity and support given to all of us here throughout the year! All of us here truly feel fortunate to work with you and your beautiful children.
Make it a beautiful summer!
