Read Across America
Cat in the Hat, Victoria Talamantes came with Thing 1, Mariana Lujan and Thing 2, Cristina Wilhoit to read to our kindergarten students to celebrate Read Across America. Thank you so much to the Lea County Community Engagement team for taking the time to come to Llano! The students loved listening to Dr. Seuss books from the characters of the story! Below students had fun in an Around the World and listened to Dr. Seuss books and completed an activity to go with the book in each teachers classroom. They had a great time!

Heggerty: (Week 16-19): Rhyme recognition, Isolating onset phonemes (sounds) in spoken language, Isolating medial phonemes (vowels) in spoken words, and reciting nursery rhymes.
Fundations: Introduce letters Vv, Ww, Xx & Yy
Eureka Math: Module 3 (How Many Questions with up to 7 objects)
