Valley Center Primary School is currently accepting new enrollments for all grade levels.
Transitional Kindergarten: We welcome students born between September 2, 2019, and June 2, 2020. Our Transitional Kindergarten program is designed to support young learners as they begin their educational journey, focusing on developing key social, emotional, and academic skills.
Kindergarten: Enrollment is open to students who turn five years old by September 1st. Our Kindergarten program emphasizes foundational learning in a fun and engaging atmosphere, setting the stage for future academic success.
Health Requirements:
Students must be fully up-to-date on their vaccinations before the start of the school year.
Additionally, Kindergarten students are required to submit a completed Report of Medical Examination for School Entry (CHDP).

We are excited that Primary is entering our second year of Online Registration (OLR). By now, you should have already received district-wide communications regarding this process. I want to extend our sincere thanks to the families who have already completed their Online registration (OLR).
Our aim is to simplify registration and offer a seamless experience for all our families. By implementing this new system, we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information to make the registration process smooth and successful for your child. Additionally, Primary School will have the added benefit of being able to register students you may have at other schools within our district, further streamlining the registration process for your entire family.
Why We Are Doing This
As we enter our second year of Online Registration, our commitment remains to streamline the registration process for every family at Primary School. We understand the importance of your time and want to offer a more convenient option for registration, allowing you to register your students from the comfort of your own home or (Include location of your planned designated area at your site). This method will not only save you time but also ensure that the student and parent information we have on record is accurate and up to date.
What are next steps for Primary School Families
To take full advantage of the simplified registration process, we need all parents/guardians to activate your Parent Portal account. This will grant you access to OLR and allow you to easily update student information, complete required forms, and receive important school updates and announcements such as grades and report cards.
How to access the Parent Portal
1. If you activated your account last year, you can log in using your existing username and password. Log in to the Parent Portal. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password" link to reset it.
2. If you have not yet created your Parent Portal account, you will need to activate a Parent Portal. This is your first step to access our simplified registration system.
3. Reset Your Password: If you do not remember your username or password and are unable to reset it using the "Forgot Password" link, please complete this form. A member of our ETIS team will reset your password and assist you in setting up a secure email for future password resets.
How to Activate
1. Look out for an email from olr@vcpusd.org containing instructions on how to activate your Parent Portal account. Email was sent out in early July with the subject line: Please Activate your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account.
2. Follow the provided steps on our dedicated OLR webpage to create your account and set up your login credentials.
3. Once your account is activated, you will have access to the OLR feature within the Parent Portal.
Simplifying Registration Process
To achieve our goal of simplifying the registration process, we have implemented the following key changes:
You will now be able to register your students online from home
The OLR process will allow parents/guardians the opportunity to update current student information, ensuring accuracy in our records.
The Online Registration window is currently open, providing ample time for completion.
Online Registration Support Event - Date and time
We will be hosting an Online Registration Support at Primary School starting on Thursday August, 8th from 8:00 am- 2:00 pm. We will be able to provide:
Hands-on technical assistance and support, ensuring that you have all the help you need to navigate the registration process successfully.
