How can you help your student to prepare?
- Make sure your child gets to school on time to help the day start off smoothly
- Get a good night's sleep
- Eat a good breakfast (we will have breakfast at school too)
- Encourage them to do their "personal best"
- Encourage them to pay close attention in class during review of all that they have learned this year
- Encourage them to raise their hands in class and ask questions when they don't understand directions
Student Spotlight 🌟
Congratulations to our Parkwood 5th grader, Hunter Harrington! 🎭 Hunter will be making his acting debut in the play "Smoldering Fires". We are so proud of his accomplishment and wish him the best of luck in his performance!
Returning to School Smoothly 🏫
Remember to give yourself and your family time and grace to ease back into the swing of things. It can be helpful to review morning and after-school routines, and to plan for some extra time this week when getting ready for school. At school, we will be revisiting our expectations and values. Please join us in reminding our students that Parkwood Upjohn is Respectful, Responsible, and Safe!
Attendance Matters 📚
The final months of the school year are crucial for learning and growth!
Key attendance reminders:
- Every day counts. Arriving on time and not leaving early make a difference.
- Stay home when you're truly ill and come to school if you are able.
- Exciting end-of-year events are coming that students won't want to miss!
We look forward to a fantastic remainder of the school year! Thank you and please reach out if you have any questions.
