Thank you to everyone who came out to our second PTA meeting of the year this past Monday night. We know sometimes these meetings can seem fast and furious, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share with you IN PERSON all of the work we are doing as a PTA.

As usual, this newsletter is packed with all kinds of information. Starting today, you can purchase your tickets for the Jingle Bell Fun Run and register your booth to participate as a vendor in the Holiday Fair! You’ll also find the sign up to bring a pie for our CCE staff next week, and you can order one of the last remaining sweatshirts we have in stock.

The PTA Board has loved serving this school community this fall, and with the holiday season coming up fast, we want to say thank you for all of the ways you have shown up and supported our PTA and our school. There is no place like CCE!

This year, our Fun Run and Holiday Fair will be a combined event. Please visit this link to purchase:

• runner packets - race bib, jingle bells, and bottle of water included ($5 early bird; increase to $7 on 11/22)

• holiday vendor booths* ($50 early bird; increase to $60 on 11/22)

• holiday student booths ($25; increase to $30 on 11/22)

• whole pizzas - cheese, pepperoni, mushroom ($16; sales close 12/3)

*PTA has a limited number of tables; if you have your own table that you can bring for your booth, we would appreciate it!

This is a beloved event, and we know different groups (Scouts, local bakers, artists, and crafty groups of friends) bring so many interesting goods to sell. We can’t wait to see what you have to offer!

To volunteer at Canyon Creek Elementary in any capacity, you must first fill out a volunteer application with the school district. This includes volunteering with PTA, chaperoning field trips, helping in the classroom or working with students. A new application must be submitted each year for the current school year and can take up to a week to be fully approved.

A strong male presence on the CCE campus is crucial for fostering a balanced and enriching environment for all students. Male role models provide a diverse perspective, supporting students’ social and academic growth by demonstrating positive behaviors, active engagement, and a commitment to education. If you're a father or father figure eager to make a difference, getting involved is simple. Just follow these three easy steps:
