And...we appreciate your accomplishments, too. The concert was amazing last night. As Mr. Miskavage noted, this senior class has an unprecedented number of hard working/gifted musicians. Now go share those talents with the world!
Finally, speaking of hard work, congratulations to Sam Yager whose name will be added to the banner in our gym for students who are recognized as US Presidential Scholars. Winning this prestigious award happens very infrequently and we are PROUD of Sam! Check out this clip!

The Nexus Seminar students will present their projects and learning experiences in the CVU Library on Thursday, May 25th from 5:30-7:00pm. "Nexhibition" is a great way for families and prospective students see what this unique learning path is all about. Come celebrate some amazing work with us!

From Cameron Brownell and Andy Miskavage: Thursday, May 11 through Saturday, May 13, these students represented CVU at the Vermont All State Music Festival in St. Albans. They earned placement in the festival through preparing and performing an audition in January, and over the three days last week, they worked with other students from all over the state, under the direction of guest conductors, to prepare a concert.

On Thursday, Joshua Lu performed his winning scholarship piece as part of the scholarship concert, and on Friday, Connor Brien performed his winning selections as well.

On Wednesday, student winners of the annual UVM High School Prize Examination in Mathematics were honored at UVM's Math Day. CVU had three students place in the top 10 statewide this year. Shown with their awards are Jacob G and Keaton S. Elias L also received an award but was unable to attend the event.
Snelling Core held their annual Crackerbat Relay and Core Awards on Thursday. All Snelling students are winners but the winning-est team was Danny H, Kai S, Zev B, Lilyanna M, Ben F, Maddie M, Lauren M, and Cecilia M. Jess LaPlante and Marie DiBenedetto pictured with the trophy!

Faculty/Staff Celebrations
Thank you to Carly Rivard and our entire Exit Experience team. Today was great! (And...the food was delicious, Cafe Staff.) Of course, what makes it all work are the relationships between Advisor and Advisee. So...thanks to all of our Advisors!

Family Fun Day to support Vermont Make-A-Wish Foundation!
When: Saturday, June 10th from 4-7pm
Where: CVU High School
Activities: Music, yard games, face painting, group activities, guest speakers and more!
Tickets: $12 for adults and $6 for youth (12 & under), if pre-purchased online (link below), $15 for adults and $8 for youth, if purchased at the door. Each ticket includes a voucher for one food item and one drink!
All proceeds directly benefit the Vermont Make-A-Wish Foundation.
