Congratulations to the following juniors who will represent Hampden Academy as Dirigo State delegates at Colby College from June 15–20: Tatum Cousins, Ashton O'Roak, Dorian Hills, and Ben Robinson.

Dirigo State is modeled after Maine’s state government and brings together juniors from across the state to create and operate their own town, county, and state governments. Students stay on campus for this immersive experience, which emphasizes civics, leadership, and collaboration. Past guest speakers have included U.S. Senators, State Senators, Governors, and other distinguished leaders.

We wish our students a fun, meaningful, and memorable week at Dirigo State!

Morgan Hill Event Center, Hermon

8-10 PM

The Prom is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, from 8:00 to 10:00PM at Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon. The HA prom is for HA Juniors and Seniors only and one guest.

Students wishing to bring a guest from another school need to complete a guest permission form before Friday, May 2, at 2 PM.

• Forms are available in the Main Office.

• Visiting guests will only be admitted to the dance with a form being submitted and approved.

• Only high school students or graduates under the age of 21 are permitted to attend HA dances.

• Guests 18 and older are asked to include a copy of their driver's license or ID with the dance permission form.
