Weekly Update
September 13, 2024
From the Principal
Dear Aquin Families,
Thank you to all the students and families that participated in our jean's day for an Aquin Alumnus this week. We were able to send over $300 to the Legacy Servant Leaders to get gift cards and items to help with their family needs. We may be a small school, but we continuously prove we are mighty!
Next weekend we will be hosting our annual 50 Year Reunion for our alumni classes that graduated 50+ years ago. This year our honored class is the Class of 1974! It is a wonderful event that we are proud to continue hosting. There will be some setup next week for the event, so we will likely have to shift extended care to another space. We will be sure to send out information and post it on the door if needed.
We do have a few students participating in sports with Orangeville this fall; Kinleigh in Junior High Volleyball and Isaac in Junior High Football. I was encouraged to share the information on those games for those interested in making a night out of supporting other Bulldogs! The information for the week is listed below. These items are also listed on the school calendar. Basketball will also be starting soon, so we will be adding that as it comes up.
I would also like to ask for some handy volunteers for a special project. I don't want to go into too much detail yet, but I am looking for a few creative and handy with power tools volunteers to work on something that would likely only be a one-day weekend project at the school. If you are handy (or know someone who is and would be willing to donate us some time) please email me their name and contact information and I will reach out to them. I would like to set this up in the next month. Thanks for your help!
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Heitkamp

Grades for Students in Grades 3-8
As your child's teacher enters grades into FACTS, they become available for you to review in the family portal. This is a good way for you and your child to review their work, grades and any potential missing assignments. If you have trouble getting into the family portal, please let us know in the office.
