It is Halloween! I won't write a big intro because you are all busy today, but thanks for taking the time to look at the newsletter!
Grade Level Announcements
Grades
Today is the last day to turn in any missing or redos. Reports cards should be mailed home next Friday, November 8. But you should be able to see up to date grades on PowerSchool anytime!
Students are starting with a clean slate for the second quarter. Check in with your student and make sure they are setting themselves up for success!

Next week, we have a quiz on our Unit on the Articles of Confederation! The study guide has been completed in class and is hopefully going home. Ten minutes of studying daily over the weekend and next week will help students succeed on the assessment!
Math - Mrs. Wilkins
Pre-Algebra: Mixed Review Test Thursday then on to One and Two-Step Equations. Algebra: Continue with Linear Equations - Slope Intercept Form, Parallel Lines, & Perpendicular Lines.
Art - Ms. Eichler
The kids had a blast celebrating Halloween all week with fun Halloween crafts and decorations. When we get back from break we will be starting a fresh new art work based on using Contrast in their artwork.
Sustainable Science - Ms. Smith
Students made caramelized apples this week, continued to work on their sewing projects and completed Week 4 of our healthy cooking unit. Great job this week!
Spanish - Mrs. Acosta
Choir - Mr. Evans
7th and 8th grade choir will perform for the senior luncheon at the Rock on Wednesday, November 6th at 11:45 until about noon. Singers should plan to wear their best school clothes.
