Message from the Principal
June 13, 2025
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Congratulations to all of our middle school students for finishing the year out on a strong note!
For our students who will be returning to us next year (8th grade Class of 2026) please remember to check the website for updates, and remember that you do have some summer work to complete (see below). Schedules will be sent out at the beginning of August, and walk around days are August 14th and August 20th. The first day of school is August 28th.
For our incoming 7th graders and families, welcome to RHAM Middle School! Summer is almost here and we hope you have all had a very good 6th grade year. As we look forward to summer vacation, we also begin the transition from one school to another. We are all eagerly anticipating your child(ren)'s arrival at RHAM on August 28th! Between now and the start of school we have a couple of summer assignments and walk-around days planned (see below). Of course if you have any questions at all please feel free to reach out to us, we would be happy to answer them. Schedules will be sent out at the beginning of August. We look forward to seeing you at the Walk Around Days on August 14th & 20th.
I hope everyone has a safe and restful summer. We will be in touch again soon.

Message from Guidance
Grade 7: Don't forget we're looking for volunteers to help out with our summer Walk Around Days! 7th graders can find the sign up in their Grade 7 School Counseling classroom! As we begin to wrap up the year we want to wish you all a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in 8th grade!
Grade 6: We hope you have an amazing summer! We're looking forward to welcoming you into RHAM next year! We hope to see you at one (or both!) of our summer Walk Around Days, which will be on August 14th and August 20th 10am-2pm. 8th Graders will be available to give tours of our building or you're welcome to try and navigate your schedule on your own! We know trying to work a locker combination is stressful for many incoming 7th graders, so this will also be an opportunity to work on that! Don't worry if you don't master it right away! Teachers and other staff will be in the halls at the start of the year to help out!
Message From the Nurse's Office
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we close another great school year, I want to share important health updates and reminders to help your child prepare for next year!
Medication Pickup
If your child has any medications stored in the nurse’s office that have not been picked up please contact the nurse via email to arrange pick up. Unclaimed medications will be properly discarded per school policy.
Summer Health Tips
Ensure your child stays healthy this summer with hydration, sunscreen, and outdoor activities! Proper nutrition and rest will help them start the next school year strong.
Required Physicals & Immunizations
Before the new school year begins, please be sure to submit your updated physical exams and immunizations to mshealthoffice@rhamschools.org:
Incoming 7th graders: A completed physical exam and updated immunization records, including any state-mandated vaccines.
Student athletes: A current physical within the last year must be submitted before participation in school athletics.
All students: Up-to-date immunization records should be provided to the school, per state health regulations.

Future Problem Solvers
International Conference/World Finals
Future Problem Solvers recently attended the International Conference/World Finals at the
University of Indiana where top FPS students from around the globe competed in various FPS components.
The 8th grade team of Maisey LeMay, Elizabeth Thibeault, Juliet Manthorne and Ben Cyr did very well on their booklet. The 8th graders made it to the finals for the Presentation of Action Plan for their skit!
We were joined at the Conference with two teams from Hebron Elementary who won first and second places in the junior division at States. They got a lot of great experience and had a good time at their first Finals. One of those teams will be at RHAM next year, and I'm expecting you'll be hearing about them in the years to come.
I am, as always, profoundly grateful for the support of the administration for these amazing kids. I always come back from the Conference fired up and ready for next year (after the summer off of course) and ready to tackle next year's topics: Invasive Species, Space Exploration, Video Games and Surveillance.
I wish all of you a quiet and restful summer!

Bus Route Information for 2025/2026
Bus routes can be found by going onto the middle school website and clicking on the bus route icon on the main page. Please note that on the first few days of school the bus company recommends that students are outside waiting for their bus a few minutes early. The bus drivers are getting used to their new routes and often tend to be a little early (or late).
Parents & families are able to monitor the progress of the bus that transports their child(ren) to and from school in real time using a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. Please note that the monitoring of bus progress is restricted to the families of students riding their assigned bus.
Please use this link for more detailed information and to register: Transportation Information
We wanted to share some key details about the MyRideK12 app and what can affect its updates.
- The app’s tracking is typically about 2 minutes behind real-time.
- For the best updates, your phone should have at least three bars of signal.
- The bus also needs a strong signal for its location to update properly.
Because of these factors, especially in rural areas, there may be times when the app’s updates are slower or less accurate.
We appreciate your understanding and are happy to answer any questions.

Cafeteria Information
We have two lunch waves at RHAM Middle School. The first wave starts at 10:35 am and the second wave starts at 11:20 am. We know that students often get hungry before and after lunch, so they may bring a snack to keep in their locker. We would like to remind everyone that because of allergies, no nut products are allowed in school. If you would like to look up the menu for either breakfast or lunch options, please click the linked image.
Families are encouraged to ensure adequate funding is in their child’s My School Bucks account to cover the costs associated with additional meals and/or a la carte items. Funds can be deposited at the following link https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain?requestAction=home

Clubs and Activities School Year 24/25
Here at RHAM Middle School we offer a large variety of clubs and activities for students to get involved in. This is a great way to meet new people and try new things of interest.
*These offerings are subject to change in the upcoming school year.
Students who stay after school are required to sign up in the After School Binders during the school day. Students must indicate if they are being picked up, walking home, or taking the late bus. Students must know their home address if they are taking the Late Bus home. Please see below for more information about the Late Bus.
RHAM Middle School Athletic Information
Middle School is the first opportunity for students to participate in a full school sport. Some of the teams at this level are try-out based and others are open to all students. More information will be given as the beginning of the new school year approaches. If your student is interested in joining athletics, you can also begin to familiarize yourselves with the Final Forms program which you will find a link to below.
