Wildcat Weekly Update

From the Principal
Dear MMS Families,
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, our focus remains on helping students finish strong—academically, socially, and behaviorally. We are proud of the progress our students have made, and we’re committed to maintaining high expectations and a positive learning environment through the last day of school.
We continue to reinforce the importance of following our Medinah Code of Conduct each day:
We are Safe
We are Caring
We are Respectful
We are Responsible
Your support at home in reinforcing these values is greatly appreciated. Please continue to look out for important dates and upcoming events, as this is a very busy time of year filled with assessments, projects, and exciting end-of-year activities.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and school community.

Medinah Middle School
From the Dean
We are excited to announce the start of our big tardy incentive kicking off this week! Tardy occurrences are something that typically progress in the wrong direction around this time of year as we near the final stretch and the weather begins to turn. There is no better time than now to remind our students of school expectations to be responsible, be prompt and be prepared for classes.
If a student receives no more than one tardy to school in the morning, or to class throughout the day, they will receive a sticker for the week. Students that receive at least 3 stickers out of the next 5 weeks will earn the privilege to participate in the big incentive reward day in May.
This reward includes a half day of classes followed by:
- student staff volleyball games
- raffle prizes
- special treats
- potential extra recess time
Thank you for your support to continue pushing our students and help keep them responsible and successful for the remainder of the school year!
