The PVS team consisting of 5th grade students K. Whipkey, N. Degrande, L. Repici, and C. Yurchak cleaned up in the special awards ceremony held yesterday by NJSBA STEAM Tank, earning FOUR awards! Job well done by these young innovators #exploregrowsoar

Each month PVS staff nominate a STAR Polisher Award. Star Polisher nominees heighten teachers' belief in themselves, their teaching ability, and their students. It affirms the staff spends nurturing students' love for learning, and it honors their positive influence in the lives of students and the school community.

Last month's STAR Polisher Award was given to Mrs. Short, (our school receptionist). Thank you Mrs. Short for nominating Mrs. McCormick for the Star Polisher award this month.

Mrs. McCormick's Bio:

My husband and I, Kevin just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We have a 19 year old son, Shane and a French bulldog, Bergey. I have been fortunate enough to work with the most amazing staff at Pleasant Valley over the past twelve years. I enjoy the feeling of comradery and the friendships I have made along the way.

Our group of our 5th graders made a sign saying "Thank you for being our Super 'Visor'" and bought Mrs. Sindoni a new bling visor. They are so thoughtful!

If your child has medication in the health office that was prescribed for use during the school year, please make necessary arrangements to pick up the medication prior to the end of the school year. If it has not been picked up by 12pm on June 14, it will be discarded unless otherwise advised. Please call the health office with any questions (856-223-5120 Ext 6321 or 6322). AUGUST 26, 2024: New Student and Rising 4th Graders Explore & Tour is an opportunity for all new students to the district and rising 4th graders to tour the building with their special adult. This event will occur at Pleasant Valley from 9:00-10:00 AM.

You will receive a scavenger hunt brochure (please bring a pen or pencil) to find important locations in the building. We look forward to seeing everyone!
