Scholar of the Week
Mr Ryan Jacobson would like to nominate Christel Morilla. "Christel has been one of the hardest working students since she entered Rowland High School. She has earned A's and B's and has been on the honor roll almost every semester she has been at Rowland High School. Christel goes above and beyond every day to ensure everyone around her feels special and heard and looks for ways to help students daily who need it. Every one of her teachers has expressed how she impacts her classes in a positive way on a daily basis. She has volunteered her time to help Ms. Pena with the Stunt team and is constantly looking to tutor students who need extra help. She has challenged herself by trying out for several extracurricular activities and was part of the dance team for the last 2 years. Christel has a unique ability to observe and see where her peers might need her help and is the first to offer a positive comment or a helping hand. Christel is a shining example of a Thinker, Communicator, and Contributor and makes Rowland proud. Congrats to you, Christel!"
