Digital Parenting: Is There an App for That?
For Parents of Junior High & High School Students
This session is designed to provide an overview of the digital environment. Topics covered include types of apps parents should be aware of, basic digital safety, cyberbullying, oversharing, sexting, sextortion and online predators. We'll also get an idea of how to start a conversation with your kids about technology that won't leave them rolling their eyeballs, and won't leave you frustrated!
Due to the nature of the material this session is not appropriate for children. 1 hour.
MO ICAC offers a variety of digital safety presentations to students, parents and community organizations free of charge. We have a full time prevention specialist who visits schools, businesses, churches and public events to provide information on the latest technology.
