Quakertown Community High School Band Spring Concert

Description:
Quakertown Community High School Band presents their Spring Band Concert, featuring the QCHS Symphonic Band and the QCHS Wind Symphony.
Future Ready Conference
When: Friday, March 7, 2025
Where: Upper Bucks Campus, One Hillendale Road, Perkasie, PA 18944
Time: 10am - 1:35pm
Description: Bucks County Community College is hosting a Future Ready Conference at their Upper Campus in Perkasie. This exciting event will feature a variety of guest speakers who will provide valuable career insights.
Quakertown students have the opportunity to sign up for three different presentations. Students will travel by Levy bus, departing at 9:30am, attend the sessions, and return to school by 1:45pm.

Meet the Instruments
When: Thursday, March 20, 2025
Where: Strayer Middle School, 1200 Ronald Reagan Drive, Quakertown, PA 18951
Time: 6pm - 7pm
“Meet The Instruments Night” and parent meeting will be held Thursday March 20th from 6-7:00pm at Strayer Middle School. This event is for any student in grades 2-7 who might like to learn a musical instrument next year in the band and orchestra program! (Current band and orchestra students do not need to attend this event unless you are considering learning a new instrument.)
At "Meet the Instruments Night" your child will get to try out their top instrument choices before you enroll them in the program. Parents will also learn more about the QCSD band and orchestra program, get to meet the teachers, learn about instrument rentals, and ask any questions.

School Traffic Safety Concerns
TMA Bucks is collecting data to help the Borough of Quakertown consider road safety issues that may arise during the school day. This data collection will help with our "Quakertown Borough Complete Streets Project" that is seeking to work toward recommendations of specific elements of Complete Streets within Quakertown Borough’s problem corridors by developing recommendation and implementation strategies that may then be advanced as projects for appropriate future funding opportunities.

Mental Health Series - ABCs of Substance Use & Vaping

The Quakertown Community School District is happy to share monthly parenting resources available through the Cook Center for Human Connection and ParentGuidance.org.
This month’s workshop focuses on substance use and vaping. Learn how to spot the signs your child may be vaping or becoming addicted to substance use. Learn to ask the right questions, spot the basic signs, and learn to communicate with your child.

On February 6th, family and friends gathered at the Sixth Grade Center to honor students for their academic achievements during the second marking period! Congratulations to all those who achieved Honor Roll, Distinguished Honor Roll, Panther Award, Subject area awards, and Sixth Grade Strong Awards! Keep Following the Sixth Grade Strong mantra - be safe, responsible, respectful, and kind!
Quakertown Community School District Choir Event
On February 19th, middle level choir students attended a special Grades 6-12 Choir Event at the High School. This event took place during the school day, giving student a chance to interact with singers grades 6 to 12, as well as all three choir directors. The experience gave students a chance to see the long-term scope of the choral experience, witnessing their growth and the future the choir program holds for them!

The Quakertown Community High School athletics department held its annual Signing Day ceremony for student-athletes continuing their education. Coaches and family members gathered at the QCHS auditorium to honor the 10 seniors on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Congratulations to our Quakertown Panther Signees:
